The Dying Mermaid of Madison Blue Springs is an in-progress site-specific solo inspired by Nestle’s violation of permits that protect the local aquifers’ natural resources, and those violation’s environmental and economic impacts on the local communities of Lee, Florida activating Madison Blue Springs as a site for further discussion of the issue. The first performance was done as part of National Water Dance’s Zoom performance Miami National Water Dance in 2020. I'm wearing a costume made from plastic bottles.
